I Found Holla!

What's going on Grandma?

Look who I got to see!  Mr. Hoppy Toad was checking out the neighborhood and he saw Mrs. Mouse and her little baby!  The babies name is Holla!  He was so happy!  He told Mrs. Mouse that he had a friend that liked the name Holla.  We got this picture for you!  Little Holla is real cute!  They were on their way to  Floormart!  They don't have a Walmart like us, they go to Floormart!   It is under the ground!   We can not go there because it is not big enough for us.  I wonder if Holla got a new toy?

Mr. Hoppy Toad was real proud of himself for finding you a girl named Holla!   You will have to thank him!

Now for the next thing that happened today at Grandma's house!  We made a big scarecrow to sit by our pumpkins!  Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake worked real hard on him!  We had our best friends come over and play today and they made one too!  They took theirs home with them!  

Whooey Who is a little worried about him because he doesn't talk!  I told him that scarecrows are quiet and just have a fake mouth.  He still thinks he should say something!  At least hello!  

Bossy, said that the scarecrow will have a new hair doo in the morning!   We know what that will look like!  

What should we name the scarecrow?   Do you have a good name for us?

Hector and Kevin are wanting to play with the scarecrow but I think they just want to eat the hay that is in his shirt!    They are sneaky like that!  

Hunter, Lady and Baby just like him and think he is cool!  They really don't care if he talks or not as long as he minds his own business!   Mr. Hoppy Toad is making a little scarecrow for his yard too!  He thinks we had a good idea!  You should see Mr. Hoppy Toad stand on his back feet!  He is really tall when he does that!   He had on a nice shirt and pants today because he was going to his Froggy Store where he works.

At home he doesn't wear clothes!  That seems funny to us doesn't it!  Grandma wears her clothes all day!

Frogs are funny!  

Well that is what went on at Grandma's house today!  I better go get supper because Grandpa is hungry!

I will fix tacos!  We like tacos!  Do you?  

I hear Whooey Who!  Who is fixing taco's?  Who!   Who!   Who!

Hector Changes His Mind

What's going on Grandma?
Today Hector tried out his new house!  He didn't like it so Grandpa will have to take the door off!  Hector thought he wanted a door on his house but he changed his mind!  Mr. Hoppy Toad didn't want a door on his house either and Hunter, Lady and Baby shook their heads- no door on their house!   Whooey Who shook his head, no door!  And Bossy shook his head, no door for me either!   Kevin tried to show Hector that it wouldn't be a good idea for  donkeys to have a door on their house!  He showed Hector that a door was for kicking!   Now Grandpa won't have to take the door off!  Kevin kicked it off!  Hector laughed!  Hunter and Lady pointed to Baby to go tell on him!  Baby wanted  Bossy to tell but Bossy thinks it is so funny he wants Kevin to kick the door again!  Whooey Who is wise you know and he thinks donkeys are silly!  
 Do you want a door on your new house?  Of course you do!  You are a people and people like doors!
I like lots of doors!  Front doors, Back doors, Bedroom doors, Bathroom doors and what other kind of doors are there?   That's all I can think of!   Can you tell me another door name?  It was a fun day on the farm!  All of the animals are sleeping now and Grandma and Grandpa are going to bed!  Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake want to stay up!  Grandpa shook his head - no!  Well that's what went on at Grandma's house today!

Mr. Hoppy Toad Moves In

What's going on Grandma?
Today Mr. Hoppy Toad moved into his new house!  He is soooooooo excited!  He thinks it is going to be a really fun house!  We worked real hard on it and got it just the way he wanted it to be!  He wanted the edges of the door to be all smooth so his kids wouldn't get hurt!  He hung up a picture of Jesus!  He is so thankful to God for his new home!
Whooey Who wants us to help him with his house in the tree and Bossy wants a house too!  He thinks his nest is a little old fashioned!  He likes Mr. Hoppy Toad's style so we told them both we would help!
Maybe when you come see us we can look at all their houses!  That will be fun!
Hector and Kevin want something new too and of course that means Hunter, Lady and Baby will want a new house also!  Grandma and Grandpa will be very busy for a while!  Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake will help us!  Jake says he doesn't want to use his birthday money to buy flower pots!  Uncle Jesse either!
I bet I can talk them into it!  I know Bossy can!
Well Mr. Hoppy Toad just wanted me to take another picture of him by his new house!  I think he likes you a lot!  That's all he thinks about- showing you what he is doing!  He is handsome!  He know it too!
Bossy is wondering why Mr. Hoppy Toad doesn't have any hair!  What should I tell him?

Mr. Hoppy Toad

What's going on Grandma?
Look at Mr. Hoppy Toad!   I was a little mad at him because he broke my flower pot but he pointed to Baby like she did it,  and she pointed to Hunter and Hunter looked up at  Whooey Woo!  Whooey Who pointed to Bossy and Bossy pointed back to Mr. Hoppy Toad and then he got a little sad because he couldn't blame it on anyone!  I told him to be more carful next time!  He wanted it to be his house for the winter and he was just climbing in it and didn't mean to break it!  I forgave him and told him he could live in it as long as he wanted to!  Then he looked at me and posed for me to take his picture!  He wanted to be in today's story!   He is a handsome Hoppy Toad isn't he?  It was hard to be mad at him!
I know he will make a nice home out of my flower pot!  We will look at it when you come to Grandma's house!  I hope he will be home that day!  Sometimes Mr. Hoppy Toad goes to work.  I don't know where he works but Grandpa says he doesn't work at the Darbys store with him!   I think he works at the Frog Store!  They sell things like Toad stools!  You sometimes have toad stools in your yard!  Frogs have to take them out of yards and sell them at the Froggy Store!  I hope you like Mr. Hoppy Toad's picture!
He will ask me what you thought so be sure to tell me a nice thing to tell him!  He really wanted to be in this story!  I like frogs!  They like me too!

Kevin Showing Off

What's going on Grandma?
Kevin wanted to show off his Bossy hair doo!    He thinks he looks really good!   What do you think?
Hector says Kevin looks good with his hair like that but he doesn't want his that way!  He wants to be different!
Today was a fun day at Church!  Uncle Jesse played the drums for us (after church) he is really good!
Uncle Jake likes to go downstairs and play lots of fun stuff!  He knows how to have fun!
Grandpa likes to sit in his chair and watch ball games!  He thinks that is fun!
Whooey Who was up early this morning!  Bossy wanted him to go back to sleep but Whooey Who -just would not listen!  They live in the same tree!  If Whooey Who keeps waking up Bossy he might move to another tree!  Hunter looks up at the tree, when Whooey Who hoots, and doesn't say any thing he just yawns!   Baby looks up and howls like a coyote!   She is a funny dog!  Very smart too!  Uncle Jesse says that Whooey Who lived in the barn next door to us last year.    He saw him there!  I wonder why he moved to our yard?  I think he came to be our friend!  I know why Bossy came!  He wanted to be Bossy to someone!   He got Kevin to fix his hair like his!   Don't worry!  Grandma won't fix her's that way!
 No way!   Grandpa won't either!  Uncle Jake will!  Uncle Jesse said, no way!   Will you fix your hair like Bossy?    :)   Grandma loves you so much! xo

Bossy gives Whooey a New Doo!

What's going on Grandma?  Uncle Jake wanted you to see his favorite bird!  It is a tufft headed titmouse!  He likes to wear his hair like this little bird does!  The bird's name is Bossy!  He tries to tell everyone to wear their hair like his!  You can tell by looking that he really thinks he is cool!   Grandma thought maybe you could fix your hair like this and send Uncle Jake a picture!  Wouldn't that be funny?  It is almost his birthday and that would be a good card idea! 

Hector and Kevin wear their hair like Bossy too!   Grandpa looks like Bossy in the morning!  Of course, Grandma does not!

Today is a pretty day here.  We are going to see Aunt Audrey she is bringing us the mail today! 

Lady is feeling better but she still can't walk.  Hunter and Baby are laying in the sun.  They are tired because they stayed up all night barking at the sky!   I guess it was at the sky because when I looked outside to see all I could see them looking at was the sky!

Whooy Who was loud this morning!  I think he was talking to Bossy and saying," Who do you think you are trying to tell me to wear my hair like you? "   If I see Whooy Who with his hair like Bossy I will take a picture!  :)

Who Is My New Visitor?

What's going on Grandma?  This morning, when Grandma was up saying her prayers, I heard a loud sound!  It was saying-
Who!  Who!  Who!  I listened real good to see who was saying that.  I heard the Who, Who's again outside by the swing.   I heard- Who!  Who!  Who!  It was a handsome owl!  So pretty and big!  I have not seen an owl at our house in a long, long time!  I hope he will stay and say Who!  Who!  Who!  every morning!   That will be fun to have a big, pet owl!  Isn't he so handsome?  
Hector and Kevin like him and so do the dogs!  I think the owl got lonesome and found some farm animal friends!  What do you think I should name him?  I think he is a boy!  He really looks handsome!   I won't have to feed him because God will supply his food!  Owls eat snakes!  I like that!    I wouln't want a pet snake!  No way!
Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake are excited because they are going to a carnival tonight!  They will play games and eat junk food!  I have been saving quarters for them to spend!  I like green money better but quarters are real good for carnivals and game rooms!  When Grandpa gets home we will go!  Grandma has a new jacket to wear and I will fix up all nice and have my ear rings on!
We will go to a carnival with you someday and we will have lots of fun!
I better go get ready!  Grandpa will want to be on time!
I hear Uncle Jesse playing the drums!  He is real good!  You will like to hear him.  Uncle Jake is playing Toontown on the old computer, he is real good at that! :)
