What's going on Grandma?
Look at Whooey Who's sister! She is the first one! Her name is Pretty Who! I guess she came to stay with Whooey Who for awhile! Aren't they so cute? See the Christmas tree they live in? How fun to have two Hoot Owls! Bossy wants his sister to come stay with him too!
Lady is Hunter's sister so he has his sister! Guess what! Lady walked all by herself today! She is getting all better! All of us are so happy for her!
Baby thinks Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake are her brothers because when she was little she slept in bed with them! Hunter and Lady never have stayed in the house so she thinks she is a people not a dog!
That's funny isn't it?
Mr. Hoppy Toad thinks Whooey Who and Pretty Who make too much noise so he is going to get ear plugs for sleeping at night! Grandma might do that too! Grandpa says he doesn't hear them! Guess Grandma has good ears!
Hector and Kevin are going to let Whooey Who and his sister sleep in the barn this winter! One on Hector's back and one on Kevin's back! That will be funny! Owls and donkey's both sleep standing up! Did you know that? Can you sleep standing up? Grandma can't! God made people to sleep like you sleep! Thank You God!!!

What's going on Grandma?
Baby wanted you to see her very first Halloween outfit when she was a little Baby! Isn't she so cute?
She wishes she could still fit in her costume but she is a big girl now. Baby doesn't know what to dress up as this year. She wants to know what all of you are going to be.
Did you see the pictures of when you were little and went on your first trick or treat? So cute!
Tell Mommy to send us a picture to show Baby!
All of the animals are in bed now and they are asleep. They had a very fun day! I will tell you more later on. Oh, no! Baby wants to know if you like her picture! Go back to sleep Baby- they will tell us tomorrow!

What's going on Grandma?
We are hungry around here! Do any of these foods look good to you? Grandma likes the grapes and Grandpa likes the corn! Uncle Jesse likes the pumpkin for a good pie and Uncle Jake likes apples!
Hector and Kevin sniff at all this good food but will only eat the apples! Hunter, Lady and Baby shook their heads no- at all of it! Whooey Who thinks he will try some later- he likes meat I think!
Bossy said, yes, to the fruit! :) Mr. Hoppy Toad likes flies so he thinks he will let an apple get stinky and then catch a few flies that land on it! Smart, isn't he!
I want that nice bunch of grapes soooooooo bad but I don't have any in the house! I like this picture of all the good fruit God gives us! I will go buy some at the store! Do you have any of these things in your house? If you do will you put it all on the table and get Mommy to take a picture of it for me? I like pictures of good food! Will you be in the picture too? I miss you so much! All of you!
Remember to put a bunch of food on the table and make it look real pretty and Grandma will be so happy! I will show all the animals the food that you have in your house and see if they like what you have! That will be real fun!
Well Grandma better go to bed now, sure wish I had some good fruit! I am hungry for good food!

What's going on Grandma?
Grandma is getting excited about Nebraska! This is a picture of a bridge in Nebraska. When you drive there will you look to see if you can find it for me? Maybe after you get in your new house you will see it when you take nice drives in the country! I am getting excited about Nebraska! I will come and see you!
Well- to all of my grandkids- it has been kinda slow around here. Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake are doing their school lessons and Grandpa is fixing things at work and selling furniture! Grandma is taking care of everyone- even all of the animals! Lady is feeling much better but still isn't walking around yet. I think she likes all of the attention she is getting! Hunter is up all night hunting so he sleeps all day!
Baby is always trying to find a place to lay in the sun. She like to sleep in the sun! Whooey Who stays up with Hunter all night and says, "Who, Who," to everything! Bossy is still being bossy and goes down to the puppy's house and bosses them too! They like him to boss them, they think he is so funny with his spiky hair doo! Mr. Hoppy Toad had a big spider try to move in with him! He got so unhappy about it! He wants a door now! I guess Grandpa will have to make him one!
Hector and Kevin had a fun game they were playing today! Pull the blanket! Hector won! Kevin is still kinda unhappy about it but Whooey Who was trying to point out wise things about being a good game player! Some one has to lose and sometimes it will be you! How do you want some one to treat you when you win? Or when you lose? Kevin needs to learn how to play with out pouting! Whooey Who is a wise owl! Owls are famous for being wise. Did you know that?
Well I better go fix supper and check on everyone! I love you sooooooo much!

What's going on, today, Grandma?
Today is Uncle Jake's birthday! He sure is excited! Hunter and Baby went to the neighbors and invited the puppies to come to his party! Look at them sing! They are so cute! They really sing loud!
They sing in doggie words and we couldn't understand them but Hunter, Lady and Baby did!
Mr. Hoppy Toad was worried about them turning over his house so he stayed home! Whooey Who thought he would watch from his tree and Bossy watched in the window because animals make him nervous! Hector and Kevin want us to bring them some cake so we will! Uncle Jesse wishes we could keep the puppies but they have to go back home to their mommy and daddy! We sure enjoyed seeing them! Puppies are so cute and fuzzy aren't they?
It was more fun to have the puppies come to the party than a clown! Clowns make Grandma nervous! ha!

The puppies names are Blondie, Snowball and Spot! Good names huh?
Uncle Jake got lots of presents but it was all boy stuff! I know one grandchild of mine that would like boy stuff! Grandma likes to play little boy toys like trucks and cowboy things. Grandpa likes the ball game toys! Jake got big boy toys! He is twelve today!
Well I better take the puppies home now. Wave bye bye to them. We get to keep the picture of them - that will be fun to remember how they looked when they sang Happy Birthday to Jake! So cute!
Hunter is taking them home so I won't have to! Good boy Hunter! Wait! They forgot their goody bags!
I better run after them!

Look at Baby! She dressed up for a picture to send you! Isn't she so pretty? She is trying to smile big for you! Baby might wear this for Halloween- what do you think? Hunter and Lady think they are too old to dress up so they are going to stay home and bark! Hector and Kevin haven't made up their minds yet on what they want to be but Whooey Who wants to be a bat and Bossy wants to be an eagle!
Mr. Hoppy Toad wants to be a monkey! Isn't that funny- a frog dressed up like a monkey! I guess they both hop around. Maybe your uncles will work on his monkey suit and send you the picture! :)

What's going on Grandma?
Look what Grandma saw this morning! Yesterday you found out that Grandma likes to put clothes on a frog and today I found a picture of a kitten dressed up like a frog! Isn't she sooooooo cute! Mr. Hoppy Toad will sure like this!
Grandma wants you to know that I like to put clothes on animals! I always have liked that and so did your mommy! When Aunt Andrea was little she did too! Get them to tell you about all the times they dressed up rabbits, kittens and dogs! They would dress them up and push them in strollers like the picture of Mrs. Mouse and Holla! You see, it really is people who put clothes on animals and frogs! Animals like the clothes God gave them best but they will let us play dress up with them because animals like to make us happy! That is why God made them, I think, to make us smile and laugh! And they sure do! I just wanted you to know that it really is Grandma who dresses animals! I like to do that even if it is in a picture of them! Thank you for letting Grandma have fun with you and send cute pictures of dress up! You grandkids are soooooooo precious to me and I love you all so very much!
Once I put clothes on Hector and Kevin! I even cut out holes for their ears and put hats on them!
Why do I like to dress animals and get pictures of them in clothes? I think God likes me to have fun with all His things He made! Maybe He wants you to have fun with me! :) Will you have fun with Grandma and all her stories of adventures with animals? Just remember that Grandma is just having fun and playing story time! Grandma's do that! When you went to Disney Land you saw people dressed up like animals didn't you? Or were they big animals in clothes? Tell me what you think! I told you what I think! I like to play dress up with animals (and frogs!)
