What's going on, Grandma?
Baby wants to show off her new hat! She is a funny doggie! She can do a little dance on her back feet if we hold up a chicken nugget! She sure does like chicken nuggets! Maybe she learned to like them by all the chicken nuggets you didn't eat!
Lady wants a hat too! What kind should I get her? Maybe a hat like Woody and Jessie wear on Toy Story! Hunter will not wear a hat because he is very proud of his looks! He likes to look like a free lion!
He does look like a lion, a little! A very nice lion!
Bossy will not wear a hat because it would smash his spiked up hair! Whooey Who might come home with a new hat- Whoooooooo knows!
Mr. Hoppy Toad might wear a hat in the spring! And Joe Joe might eat it if I gave him a hat! He is always hungry! Kevin and Hector won't be still for Grandma to try a hat on them. Maybe in the spring when I can stay outside longer!
Goldie would like a hat but it would get all wet and fall in his eyes! Oh, well- Baby has a hat and she likes hers so much!
Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake are eating popsicle and guess what Grandpa is doing! Yep! That is right!
Watching a ball game in his chair!
Grandma is writing you and missing you so much!
Grandpa did help me clean the kitchen after supper! We had sausage and gravy over biscuits and plum jelly on a biscuit for dessert!
Now it is time to fold some clothes and sneak to bed early! Do you like to go to bed early? I didn't like to go to bed early when I was younger either! Now I do! It is fun! I think about you!

What's going on Grandma?
Look at the baby owls Grandma found! Aren't they so cute! So fuzzy and soft!

Do you think they are boys or girls! They look so sweet!
Baby is barking and barking tonight. Grandpa is getting upset at her but she just keeps barking anyway!
We go outside to see what it is but there is nothing we can see! I think she is calling Hunter to come home. He goes off and hunts at night and sometimes Lady barks and other times Baby barks! I think tomorrow night we will lock Hunter, Lady and Baby in the back fence and then we will all get a quiet sleep! That's a great idea!
Hector stayed in his fence today and Kevin was so happy! Grandpa too!
Bossy is snuggled up in his nest. Whooey Who would like to see the picture of the baby owls! Wish I could find him! He will come home soon!
Mr Hoppy Toad is sleeping really good and will stay that way for a long sleep!
Goldie is getting a bath tomorrow! Remember when we gave him one while you were here? That was so fun! I will have to do it without you this time! He is getting stinky!
Joe Joe is sneaking around the back yard! I think he found the dog food!
Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake are eating candy and Grandpa is in his chair watching a ball game. Grandma is writing you this story!
Now it is time for Grandma to go to bed! Oh, Baby! Be quiet!! Maybe I will take her a cookie!
I will say to her- If you will stop barking I will give you a cookie! She doesn't like cookies that much so she will want a chicken nugget! Where will I get a chicken nugget? I have a thought! Mommy left some or your chicken nuggets in my freezer! I will give her one of yours! Is that ok with you?

What's going on Grandma?
Hector is sorry! He got out of the fence today and Kevin got real upset with him! Kevin kept hee hawing and trying to get Grandpa to come outside and see the bad thing Hector did!
Finally we all went outside to see what Kevin wanted! He told on Hector! Hector really was sorry and wanted back in the fence with Kevin but he didn't know how to get back in! Grandpa and Uncle Jesse helped him! Grandpa pulled real hard on his front and Uncle Jesse pushed his hinny!
Looks like Hector is trying to pick some old flowers to say he is sorry! That's ok, Hector- we forgive you and Kevin does too!
We sure miss you all! We had soooooo much fun! We will do it again soon! All of us!
Whooey Who is being with his owl family and Bossy is being with his bird family! We know where Mr. Hoppy Toad is! Under his house all cozy and warm! Hunter, Lady and Baby are snuggled on the back porch with all the old blankets! They have been so good lately! I think they miss you too!
Joe Joe is still waiting for the dog food to be on the front porch! Grandpa says, Joe Joe has too many friends! They will eat too much!
Hector wants a cookie! Guess he got hungry outside of the fence!

What's going on Grandma?
Look at Daddy run! Today Daddy and Mommy went running and we watched them out the back door.
We saw Hunter and Baby running with them! That was funny and you and sister laughed! Then we played run around the table until they got back! Grandma had to run while you both ran after me! After you got tired you made me pay a toll to get past you! That was sooooooo smart!
We looked out again to see if Mommy and Daddy were coming back and we saw Hunter ahead of them!
He won! That made us all laugh too! Grandma didn't stop running until Daddy got in the house! Wow! Grandma is still young!
Goldie is so happy that you are here with us! Grandma and Grandpa are happy too! Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake think you are so funny! We all love each other so much!
Tomorrow, if it is warmer, we will go find Whooey Who and see Bossy's nest! We will see where
Mr. Hoppy Toad is sleeping for the winter! That will be lots of fun!
Grandma better get ready to hug and play with you! You should be back to me in a few minutes!

What's going on Grandma?
Look at Whooey Who! He wants you to see his funny Santa hat! He found it in on the road somewhere and he swooped down and got it! Bossy had to help him put it on- I am guessing! He is a funny owl!
He likes you alot! He is always thinking of things to say! Who, who, will listen to him?
We do! Whooey Who is staying in the barn, by the cows, for winter! He thinks it is cold right now!
He gets alot of food in the barn too! Nice place for him to stay in the winter!
Mr. Hoppy Toad went under his house and isn't coming out until spring! He is so happy under there!
That sounds strange to us! We wouldn't live under our house and be happy, would we?
Joe Joe is still waiting for Grandpa to put the dog food on the front porch! He wants to sneak it everyday!
Hunter and Lady are sleeping on old blankets and clothes on the back porch! Baby is too! I told them that it looks messy to have that on the back porch but they think if I love them I will let them be warm and messy! What do you think? Should I move them? They would be really sad at me if I did!
Guess I better show them how much I do love them! They have a whole garage-barn to sleep in but they want right up against the house! They are very nosey and don't want to miss anything their people do!
Hector and Kevin are getting lots of hair for winter! They look fat! I like them that way! They like the cold weather and want some slippy ice to play on! I bet they get it soon!
Did I forget anyone? Hope not because the animals like to say hello to you too!
Oh, yes! I forgot Goldie! He is trying to get my attention! I hear him making water splashes!
Ok, Goldie! I will say hello for you! Goldie says, hello! Now he wants me to feed him! He is getting big fast! You will like him! We sure do!
Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake just finished their math! They want a Christmas break from school!
Me too! I need to get ready for some Grandchildren to come to my house! I am sooooo excited!

What's going on Grandma?
These little sisters are ready for winter! They have their fur God gave them and ear muffs and a scarf too! Aren't they so cute! Do they look like Chippy?
The one with ear muffs is Polly and the one with the scarf is Lolly! I want to hold them! I bet you do too! Mommy had bunnies when she was little. She would dress them up and push them in strollers, ask her about all the fun she had when she was a little girl!
Grandma thought you might like the picture of Polly and Lolly! They are so cute! Not as cute as you though! Grandma is ready to see you all dressed up for winter! I will, real soon! ;)
I better go take care of the animals! Uncle Jesse feeds and Uncle Jake waters! I get to talk to them!

What's going on Grandma?
Look at the funny doggies Grandma saw! Baby doesn't want us to get her a santa suit!
She thinks these doggies look funny! Baby wants a new blanket instead of an outfit!
Lady thinks she would wear a Santa suit but I don't think they make them big enough for her!
She is getting fat now that she feels better! Hunter hopes these little doggies don't stay at our house because he is tired of sharing the dog food.
Whoey Who is staying at the barn down the road. I hope he comes back to see you when you come.
Bossy is still being bossy to Whoey Who and is telling him to come back to our yard right now!
Mr. Hoppy Toad thinks it is getting too cold for him to stay in his house, he wants to go to the underground room for winter. I guess he should do that since he doesn't have any fur like the other animals.
Hector and Kevin are excited about getting snow. They like to play in it and push each other and slip and slide! They have lots of fun. Do you like snow? Grandma does!
Joe Joe hasn't been sneaking the dog food because Grandpa won't move the feeder to the front. Joe Joe is not brave enough to go in the back yard. Maybe Grandpa will move it to the front so you can see him sneak the dog food! He is a happy bird and he has lots of brothers and sisters too!
Did Grandma forget anyone? I hope not!
Uncle Jesse and Uncle Jake are making a Christmas list! They are excited about Christmas! It is Jesus' Birthday and we all get excited about that! Thank You Jesus! We love YOU!
Grandma better go to bed now. I hope you like the picture of the little doggies in the santa suits.
I really like to see animals dress up like people, it is funny to me! Hope you think so too! We will dress Baby in some clothes while you are here! She will let us do that. Baby likes to show off!
